Since we deal with perishable food items, our refund and return policy differs from standard eCommerce stores.

This policy applies to:

    • Orders placed directly through MOTHERSTIFFIN.com (the platform)

    • Orders fulfilled by restaurant vendors or delivery partners registered on our marketplace


2. No Return Policy

Due to the perishable and custom-prepared nature of food products:

    • We do not accept returns of food items once delivered.

    • Orders once prepared or dispatched cannot be returned or reshipped for hygiene and safety reasons.


3. Refund Eligibility

Refunds are considered only under the following circumstances:

a. Order Not Delivered

    • If the order was accepted but not delivered due to non-availability of delivery partners or restaurant closure.

    • If payment was deducted but the order was not confirmed.

Resolution:
Full refund to the original payment method within 5–7 business days.


b. Wrong or Missing Items

    • If the delivered order contains incorrect or missing items compared to what was ordered.

    • Must be reported within 1 hour of delivery through the “Help” or “Support” section on MOTHERSTIFFIN.com, with order ID and photo evidence.

Resolution:
Partial or full refund, or a replacement (if agreed by the vendor).


c. Poor Quality or Spoiled Food

    • If the food is stale, spoiled, contaminated, or unfit for consumption.

    • Users must raise a complaint within 1 hour of delivery with photo/video proof.

Resolution:
Refund or credit may be issued after verification with the restaurant partner.


d. Payment Issues

    • If the payment is debited but the order is not confirmed due to a system or gateway error.

Resolution:
Full refund initiated automatically within 3–5 business days.


4. Non-Refundable Cases

Refunds will not be issued in the following cases:

    • Change of mind after placing the order.

    • Incorrect address or unavailability of the customer at delivery time.

    • Delays due to traffic, weather, or unforeseen conditions.

    • Dissatisfaction based on taste preferences or portion size.

    • Items not matching the image shown on the website (for representational purposes only).


5. Refund Process

    • Refunds are processed to the original payment method (Credit/Debit Card, UPI, Wallet, etc.).

    • Processing time may vary depending on your payment provider.

    • Refunds approved by the restaurant or MOTHERSTIFFIN.com will be communicated via email or SMS.


6. Multi-Vendor Marketplace Clause (For Restaurants/Vendors)

    • Vendors are responsible for ensuring order accuracy, hygiene, and compliance with FSSAI standards.

    • MOTHERSTIFFIN.com reserves the right to deduct or hold vendor payouts to process verified customer refunds.

    • In case of disputes, MOTHERSTIFFIN.com’s decision shall be final and binding.
